CJ is a registered architect in the state of Nevada and has experience in the hospitality, custom residential, academic and municipal sectors. He brings both global vision and a distinctive, detailed perspective to each project. His sensitivity to form, materiality and context have been vital to multiple award-winning projects. He holds a current certificate from the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards and is a LEED Accredited Professional. Born near Washington, D.C., and raised in the Pacific Northwest, he earned his Bachelor of Architecture from the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD). His career has taken him across the United States and Asia, with professional experience in Los Angeles, Chicago, Dallas, China, and now Las Vegas. Working across residential, commercial, education, hospitality, and municipal projects, Sung creates environments that balance bold ideas with practical performance. He is driven by the belief that thoughtful design should do more than satisfy aesthetic and programmatic goals—it should elevate everyday experiences, support clients’ needs, and make a lasting positive contribution to the built environment.
