Henry CJ Hoogland

CJ received a Master of Architecture with honors from Rice University in 2004. While at Rice he was awarded the Mary Ellen Hale Fellowship. Previous to that, he earned a Bachelor of Science in Design (Architectural Studies) from Arizona State University. He has more than 13 years of professional experience and his design and research work has been published in both academic journals and industry publications.

CJ is a registered architect in the state of Nevada and has experience in the hospitality, custom residential, academic and municipal sectors. He brings both global vision and a distinctive, detailed perspective to each project. His sensitivity to form, materiality and context have been vital to multiple award-winning projects.

He holds a current certificate from the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards and is a LEED Accredited Professional. In March of 2011, CJ established HOOGLAND ARCHITECTURE, LTD.

 
Sung Ha

Sung Ha

Project Architect | AIA, NCARB

Sung has an eclectic taste stemming from a diverse history living in various cities around the world. He was born near our nation’s capital then raised on the opposite coast in the Pacific Northwest. After graduating from the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD) with a Bachelor of Architecture degree, he lived and worked in several cities around the United States and Asia, including Los Angeles, Chicago, Dallas, Shanghai and Las Vegas. Over the years and throughout his architectural career, Sung has gained extensive experience working on commercial, residential, educational, and hospitality projects, all while striving to maintain the utmost attention to detail.

Sung is a licensed architect from the Nevada State Board of Architecture, Interior Design and Residential Design (NSBAIDRD) and holds a certificate from the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards.

 
Lavinia Santos

Lavinia Santos

Project Manager

Lavinia was born in Paraná, Brazil. She moved to the states at a very young age and was raised in the suburbs of Chicago, IL. Influenced by the Windy City, Lavinia decided to pursue her Bachelor's Degree in Architecture at the Illinois Institute of Technology (IIT) with a minor in Construction Management. During her time at IIT, she participated in Navy Pier’s annual CONNECT competition in the Sculptural Objects Functional Arts (SOFA) Expo where she and her team competed against six other design schools to design and build an interactive exhibit that combined seating and lighting, winning 1st place. Her passions include music, the arts, and nature - all having a strong influence in her work.
